STEPS FOR TRANSFERRED LINE EMBROIDERY

Please find below the updated, step-by-step guide for ordering transferred lines for the new Brigidine College St Ives blazer. This guide incorporates the new pricing structure and item codes for the transition period.

Prior to handing in your daughter’s blazers, you will need to place your order online or prepare for an over-the-counter purchase.

Step-by-Step Guide for Ordering Transferred Lines

Step 1: Create or Log In to Your Account

Ensure you have an active online account with Focus Uniforms. If you do not have an account, please visit the uniform shop website to register.

Step 2: Review Your Existing Blazer and Calculate Item Codes

Examine the lines currently embroidered on your daughter’s old blazer. To transfer these existing lines to the new blazer at the special transition pricing, use the following item codes:

• The First Line: Order exactly one (1) x code "102 - First Transferred Line Embroidery" ($10.00).

• Subsequent Words: For every word included in the additional lines after that first line, use code "103EMB - Line Embroidery Each Word After First Line" ($2.00 per word). Count the total number of words across all remaining lines and add that quantity to your cart.

Important Exception for Repeated Awards: If your daughter has received the same award in consecutive years (e.g., WATER POLO 2023 and WATER POLO 2024), you only need to order one word for the new year, as only the new year will be appended to the existing line.

Step 3: Account for Any New (Un-embroidered) Lines

If your daughter has newly acquired award letters for lines that have not yet been embroidered onto any blazer, these do not qualify for the transition discount. They must be ordered separately at the standard, full-price structure.

Example Calculation

If your daughter is transferring the following three lines from her old blazer:

1. RUGBY 7S CAPTAIN 2025 (This is the designated First Line) $\rightarrow$ Select Code 102 x 1

2. CONSISTENT ENDEAVOUR 2025 (Three additional words) $\rightarrow$ Select Code 103EMB x 3

3. WATER POLO 2026 (Where WATER POLO 2025 is already on the blazer) $\rightarrow$ Select Code 103EMB x 1 (Only the year is added)

Total Cart Items to Order:

• Code 102 (First Transferred Line) x 1

• Code 103EMB (Subsequent Words) x 4

Step 4: Complete the Cart Details and Special Instructions

Once all items are added to your cart, navigate to the cart page. In the "Order special instructions" section, please clearly type out all the lines to be transferred exactly as they should appear, including any specific details such as thread colour or positioning.

Step 5: Purchase Timeline and Options

• Online Orders: You may purchase the new blazer and the transferred lines online during Terms 2 and 3. They do not need to be purchased simultaneously, but the transferred lines must be paid for online before the uniform shop can formally accept the blazers.

• Onsite Orders: If you prefer, purchases can be made over the counter at the uniform shop. Please allow extra processing time if choosing this option.

Step 6: Blazer Hand-In (Term 3 2026 Schedule)

On your daughter’s designated Mentor Group hand-in date (listed below), she must bring both the old blazer and the new blazer to the uniform shop either before school or during recess.

Focus Uniforms staff will record the lines from the old blazer during the day, and the old blazer will be returned to the student to wear home at the end of the day. Please ensure online orders are completed prior to this date, as staff will verify payments upon collection.

Year 10 Hand-In Schedule: Term 3 2026

All hand-ins are organised by Mentor Group to manage the high volume of requests:

Note: If a student misses their designated day, they may submit their blazers on the next available scheduled day.

Collection

The newly prepared senior blazer, complete with the transferred lines, will be ready for collection on Day 1 of Term 4 2026, in time for the commencement of the new Senior Summer Uniform requirements.
